Alex Robinson is a versatile vocalist, pianist, and composer known for her warm tone, expressive phrasing, and playful improvisation. Based in Southern California, she performs across the LA area and has appeared at the Stanford Jazz Festival and Jazz Roots at the Adrienne Arsht Center. She has collaborated with jazz greats like Peter Eldridge and Becca Stevens, contributed vocals to a GRAMMY-winning project with Carla Patullo, and had her arrangements featured at top vocal jazz programs.
An experienced educator, Alex teaches jazz and contemporary voice at Mt. San Antonio College and Chapman University, where she also directs the Vocal Jazz Ensemble. A two-time graduate of the University of Miami, she has performed internationally and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. When she’s not making music, she enjoys books, movies, puzzles, true crime podcasts, and time with her dog, Millie.
