Richard Aaron

Richard Aaron is a sought-after professor of cello whose methods of teaching have garnered global acclaim.Aaron is currently on the faculty of The Juilliard School, the University of Michigan, and Mercer University's Robert McDuffie Center for Strings — with past teaching credits at the New England Conservatory and the Cleveland Institute of Music. Aaron has also been deeply involved with noted competitions, both as a judge at the Klein Competition, Beijing International Competition, Cassado (Japan) and others, and as a mentor to winners of prestigious programs. Many of his students have also gone on to claim coveted spots in renowned orchestras and ensembles.
