In this course, you’ll explore the foundations of body mechanics: from tuning into posture and alignment, to scanning for tension, to building flexibility with simple stretches. By the end, you’ll have a grounded routine that supports healthy, expressive singing.

Course Syllabus

Introduction

In this introduction to body mechanics, you’ll learn how posture, alignment, and awareness form the foundation of healthy, efficient singing.

Body Scanning

In this lesson, you’ll be guided through a full-body scan designed to heighten awareness and prepare the body for singing.

Stretching

In this lesson, you’ll explore simple stretching exercises designed to release tension and improve mobility before singing.

Adding Breath

In this lesson, you’ll learn hissing drills and box breathing exercises that build awareness, stamina, and control.
