Professor of Music Theory at the Juilliard School, Benjamin Grow is a sought-after conductor and multi-instrumentalist trained in the French tradition of keyboard harmony and solfège.

Benjamin Grow

Professor of Music Theory at the Juilliard School, Benjamin Grow is an active conductor and multi-instrumentalist who has worked with a wide array of ensembles in New York City. He serves as Principal Conductor of Chelsea Opera and Co-Director/Conductor of the sinfonietta Ensemble Échappé, and is Music Director of the Southern Tier Symphony. Grow studied keyboard harmony and ear training at the EAMA Summer Institute at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris. He received his Bachelor of Music from the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University and his Master of Music at the Manhattan School of Music.
