Rachelle Jonck

Rachelle Jonck is a highly respected figure in the world of classical singing, renowned for her deep expertise in the Bel Canto vocal technique.

Jonck began her career in South Africa, playing key roles at Cape Town Opera and the State Theater Opera in Pretoria, where she founded the State Theater Philharmonic Choir. After moving to the US, she became Head Vocal Coach at Bel Canto at Caramoor. Jonck has received accolades including South Africa's Nederburg Opera Prize, and has significantly impacted the operatic scene in both countries through her performance and teaching career.

Now based in New York City, Jonck balances teaching, conducting, and performing. She leads a prestigious vocal studio, guiding emerging talents and established artists who perform in major opera houses globally. As a conductor, she has directed notable productions and festivals. Her initiatives, like the Bel Canto Boot Camp, showcase her commitment to promoting traditional Italian singing among new generations of performers.
