Romanian guitarist Dragos Ilie is one of the most creative and expressive young guitarists of his generation. He has placed in over 40 national and international competitions, having received more than 20 Grand Prizes. After recovering from a music-related injury, Dragos has been deeply invested in the study of Body Mapping, a technique that focuses on body awareness and injury prevention for musicians. Dragos holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Performance from the Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University. He is currently finishing his Master’s Degree at the University of Texas at Austin, serving as Teaching Assistant for the guitar studio, led by Adam Holzman.
