One of the most outstanding Spanish guitarists of his generation, Eduardo Inestal has obtained 14 prizes in international competitions and performs extensively around the world.

Eduardo Inestal is considered one of the most outstanding spanish guitarists of his generation. He studied at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Salamanca and the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf under the direction of Marcos Martin, Hugo Geller and Joaquín Clerch respectively. He graduated with Honors and won the Award “Premio de honor” and also gets Konzertexamen under the tutelage of Master Clerch with the highest rating 'Mit Auszeichnung-Cum Laude'. At the same time, he studied History and got a Master in Education in the University of Salamanca. Eduardo Inestal obtained 14 prizes in international competitions such as the 'Norba Caesarina', 'Jose Tomas - Villa de Petrer', 'Villa de Aranda', 'Cesar Aira', 'Luys Milan' among others, also has developed an important concert activity as soloist and chamber musician in Europe and America. Eduardo Inestal is invited to many music festivals as the “Festival internacional de Guitarra de La Habana” (Cuba), 'Festival Internacional de Segovia' (Spain),”La guitarra en los jardines de Falla” (Granada-Spain) 'Jóvenes Maestros Internacionales' (León, Spain), 'Semana de la Guitarra Villa de Petrer' (Spain), 'Klanken Festival Maastricht' (Netherlands) 'Niederrhein-Musikfestival' (Germany), 'Düsseldorf Guitar Festival' (Germany), Elfenauer Kultursommer (Bern-Switzerland), performing in major venues such as Auditorio Manuel de Falla in Granada, the Teatro Lope de Vega in Valladolid, Teatro Conde Duque or Juan March Foundation in Madrid, Auditorium 'Ciudad de León', Robert Schumann Saal Dusseldorf, Cologne Philharmonie or National Theatre of Cuba.

He has premiered numerous works written for and dedicated to Eduardo Inestal, among which should be highlighted José María Gallardo del Rey, Joaquín Clerch, Simone Iannarelli.

His guitar has led him to work with music personalities like Guitarrist and composer Joaquín Clerch, pianist Alberto Rosado and Anthony Spiri, bassoonist of the Concertgebouw Simon Van Holen or conductors such a Leo Brouwer, Desar Sulejmani, Thomas Gabrish, Dorel Murgu or Thomas Neuhoff among others.

Eduardo Inestal currently teaches at the University of Music Robert Schumann and 'Clara Schumann' Conservatory, both in Dusseldorf (Germany) and is regularly invited to give master classes at numerous institutions and festivals and as a jury-member in international competitions.
