Eduardo Fernandez is a world-renowned expert on the music of Sor, Giuliani, Legnani, and their contemporaries. In this course, he dives into the work of the great maestro, Giuliani. He uses L'Armonia from Giulianate as an entry point, and throughout the course, he references all the great Giuliani classics like the Rossiniane, the Grand Ouverture, and his 120 Right-Hand Etudes.He teaches us everything we need to know about Giuliani's music, from the unexpected right-hand techniques he used in his performances, to the origin of Rossiniane as "imaginary operas", and how to interpret Giuliani's propensity for writing idiomatic, "guitar-first" music.
