Roman Rabinovich

In this course, Roman Rabinovich shares his interpretation of Haydn’s Sonata in B minor, Hob. XVI: 32. I. Allegro moderato

In the first Movement Rabinovich guides you through the main theme, “the three attempts,” as he calls them, and the modulation, showing how to add musicality and depth to a complex composition.

II. Minuet

The second movement is an island of hope between the darker first and third movements of the sonata. In this lesson, Rabinovich discusses which fingerings to use and how to build the phrase between the hands.

III. Finale. Presto

An intense movement full of inner tension and turbulence, in the third movement, Roman Rabinovich shares fingerings, discusses the form, and teaches how to structure your musicality through the repeating motifs.
