tonebase has really, really made the difference in how I teach piano. My name is Judy and I’m an independent piano teacher in Oklahoma. I had the corporate world and all that good stuff, but now I teach 25 students now that I'm retired.

tonebase helps me reconnect with the learning that I got earlier, and it puts it in a new place to where it's more relevant. For instance, phrasing and rests. Sometimes if it's in the same chord you're going to keep playing through the rest…not particularly subtle. Makes a difference! Those rests are there for a reason, and so it's been good to work with that.

I used this program also with my piano teaching, taking my laptop to my students houses. And the particular part of the piece that we're working on, I can go right to that section because I have it down on what the time is on it, and I can just go ahead and play it for the student so they get the idea from me, plus it's backed up by what tonebase is saying as well. So that is a real good, good plus. It inspires me, tonebase does, to be the best piano teacher I can possibly be but for my students. And I would hate to not have tonebase around because it's really become quite the partner for me. Thanks.
