Aniello Desiderio

Aniello Desiderio has noteworthy abilities as a guitarist, which he has parlayed into his pedagogical career at the S. Giacomantonio University of Music in Cosenza, Italy.

An avid interpreter of Italian composers such as Scarlatti, Paganini, and many others, Desiderio is a highly-esteemed soloist known to the global classical guitar scene, being a prolific prizewinner of 18 1st-place International Awards across both national Italian and international competitions.

Desiderio has performed with prominent orchestras worldwide as well as his own ensembles, including the Quartetto Furioso — a group he formed with his brothers Gennaro (a violinist) and Gaetano (a pianist) to explore the fusion of Baroque and tango music.
